CITIES

TULSA

We’ve served more than 100,000 meals in Tulsa. Our record for a single outreach is 260 people (Aug. 25, 2017).

We perform an outreach on Fridays over lunch using a church parking lot downtown. This usually lasts about 30 minutes.

DENVER

We’ve served more than 43,000 meals in Denver. The startup money for our lunches in Denver (about $800) came from offerings given by the homeless & needy in Tulsa.

We typically hit the streets 6 times per month in Denver. Outreaches last about an hour. Opportunities to serve are available on Wednesdays & Saturdays.

DALLAS

We’ve now served more than 31,000 meals in the Metroplex. We typically do 3-4 outreaches downtown each month on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Our first outreach was on Aug. 4, 2012, when we served 60 lunches downtown. Our first four sack lunches went to a lady (Kendra) & her three daughters.

HOUSTON

This is our latest expansion endeavor. This work began in 2017 and is funded through our founding organization, Filling The Void Inc.

So far we’ve served more than 5,000 meals in Houston over approx. 70 outreaches on the streets at low-income senior living complexes.

WESTERN U.S.

We’ve also served more than 2,500 meals in 10 other prospective cities over the years. These cities include Seattle, Spokane, Portland, Ore., San Francisco, San Diego, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Fort Worth Brownsville, TX, and Crescent City, CA.

All of this is designed to lay the long-term groundwork for the future of Filling The Void. If you have an interest in starting or becoming an affiliate of Filling The Void, talk with kelly@fillingthevoid.com
